curs-2019-integracio--jpFrom 19-28 February, enrolment will be open for the Formentera Department of Social Welfare’s course on social and cultural integration. The course is held twice yearly at the island’s adult learning centre, and for this round, classes extend from 3-26 March. Students who complete the course successfully receive a report from the Balearic government accrediting the holder’s efforts towards integration, and classes serve to prepare individuals ahead of the CCSE citizenship test.

Space is available for 15 and individuals interested in enrolling are asked to inquire at the social welfare office during regular office hours, 9.00am to 2.00pm. A valid ID (temporary residence card or passport) is required for registration. Conducted over 20 hours in two weekly sessions, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4.30 to 7.00pm, the course will be held in the large classroom of the Escola d’Adults.

Topics covered will include Spain's constitutional values, human rights and civil liberties, the Balearic Statute of Autonomy, the European Union and gender equality, among others.
